Written Work Submission Form

Artwork Submission Form

Deadline

  • Spring 2026 Submissions: Sunday, March 22nd 11:59 PM

Eligibility & Publication History

  • While we are foremost dedicated to amplifying the creative voices of undergraduates, we accept submissions from any student with a Harvard University affiliation, including graduate school students.

  • Previously published works are accepted. Please include the original place of publication in the additional information section of the form.

  • Simultaneous submissions are welcome. Please let us know if your work is accepted elsewhere so we can credit the original publication.

  • Submissions generated in whole or in part by artificial intelligence (AI) are not accepted. We believe that artistic creation is a fundamentally human industry incompatible with digital outsourcing. If there are preliminary uses of AI that you feel are warranted, please explain them in your submission.

  • We enthusiastically encourage experimental and hybrid submissions across genres and media. For works whose intent, form, or content would be constrained by the formatting requirements outlined below, feel free to deviate, as long as the work remains intentional in its presentation. If you have any questions about which form to use to submit these pieces, please email hutuesdaymagazine@gmail.com.

Submission Limits

  • Written work: Up to 5 pages per person, per semester. Please specify if a submission, or any part of a submission, is intended to be reviewed as a series; if so, it will be reviewed in its entirety.

  • Artwork: Up to 2 works per person, per semester. A work can be a single piece or a series of up to 4 pieces. Please specify if a submission is intended to be reviewed as a series; if so, it will be judged in its entirety.

  • You may submit both writing and art in a given publication cycle.
